Muyiwa Davids, host of Tea for Chat

Hi, I’m Muyiwa Davids — a passionate videographer, storyteller, and software developer driven by the belief that every frame, line of code, or conversation should serve a purpose and move people closer to understanding.

My journey into media and storytelling began around 2010, sparked by curiosity about how visuals can shape emotion and connection. What started as a creative experiment grew into a thriving career in media and entertainment, culminating in the registration of my production company in Nigeria, which has delivered professional services for corporate organizations, government agencies, and NGOs alike.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of training and mentoring rising talents in the entertainment industry — many of whom are now featured across Nollywood movies on YouTube, Netflix, and other major streaming platforms. In 2022, my dedication to storytelling earned me the Best Movie Award across Northern Nigeria, a milestone that deepened my love for meaningful, visual narratives.

That creative journey eventually led me into technology, where I now channel the same storytelling instincts into crafting seamless digital experiences. As a Computer Programming student at Sheridan College, I’ve developed a strong foundation in full-stack web development, system administration, and scalable architecture — building clean, responsive applications using Angular, React, TypeScript, and Material Design, and deploying secure backend systems on Linux.

Whether behind a camera or a keyboard, my focus remains the same: to create experiences that inform, inspire, and connect. Through my podcast, Tea for Chat, I continue to explore real human stories, bridging the worlds of media, technology, and purpose-driven conversations.
